I'm 40years old, married with 2 kids and several computers.
The back story...
Originally from Manchester, I graduated from Salford University in 1992. From 1992-1999 I lived in Brighton working as software developer for Ericsson.
In 1999 I moved to Rome, Italy, working as a self employed contractor for Ericsson Italia. It was here I started teaching myself web design and did my first paid work in 2001.
In 2002 I returned to Manchester and set myself up as a self employed web designer trading as Exclaim Web Design.
I currently do a mixture of employed work, self employed general freelance work.
Why Use Exclaim Web Design
Lower costs means better value.
Working from an office at home, my costs are minimal. More expensive than someone in India, but I offer a face to face service and you know where I am. Respectable city centre web design agencies with larger overheads can charge up to £70 per hour, although they won't tell you this. The person actually doing the work gets about £12 per hour of this.
I've been around a while
I've been a successful full time web designer for since 2002 and full time IT professional since the early 90s. For an appraisal of working with me, please call any of the businesses featured in examples of my work.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'm in a settled period of my life. I'm not going to disappear back-packing around The World any time soon. I've had many clients who tell me they were let down by a vanishing web designer.
